I expect to get several pages, each with a portion of the image, that can be joined up to produce the full image spread over several pages. GIMP does everything else I've ever wanted, plus about a million things I have no clue about, so I figured it would do this as well, but so far all I get is one page with the whole image on it. In this case, I have not used the Image -> Scale Image function, I don't really want to change the image, I just want to print it out at the specified size. There are no "Scale image to page size" checkboxes that I've seen. I figure I'm missing something obvious, but have not been able to find it so far. But that's not what I want, I want to print it out at 22 inches wide and 16 inches tall, as specified on the Print Size dialog. The proportion is correct, the image I'm working with if 8 inches wide would be 6 inches tall. On Image Settings tab, the Size section shows Width 8 inches, Height 6 inches.Paper size is US Letter, Orientation is Portrait. On General tab, select the printer to use, specify to print all pages, one copy.I can re-open it, and the size is still what I set. Set Width to the size I want, for example 22 inches.

What I want to do is load an image into GIMP then have it print it at a specified print size. I also have LibreOffice Draw V6.4.4.2 available, no luck with it, either. I've been trying to do this with GIMP V2.10.18 I am trying to print large images, that take multiple physical pages (pieces of paper) to print. Not sure if this is appropriate here or in Software & Applications.
